The Peale

In the spirit of West African Griot tradition, we are turning to the community for their support in ensuring that the stories of Sankofa Dance Theater can be experienced by all.

There are three ways to support this exhibition:
Donate to help assist with production costs
Purchase tickets for the exhibition and special events
Share your Sankofa Story to be included in the exhibition

DONATE

Your donation will help with exhibition and event expenses, as well as offer free entry for any visitor who is unable to pay for admission.

All donations of $50 or more includes two tickets to the Fall Festival Opening Event on October 23rd.

All donations of $100 or more includes a Sankofa Passport, which grants unlimited access to the exhibition and a ticket to each special event.

All donations of $200 or more, receive two Sankofa Passports, including unlimited access to the exhibition, tickets to each special event, and $25 to use in the Sankofa Gift Shop.

All donations of $300 or more receive everything above, as well as recognition in the exhibition.

Admission to the exhibition is suggested at $10 per person.
Admission to special events is suggested at $15 per person.

SHARE YOUR SANKOFA STORY

Sankofa Dance Theater touched thousandas of artists and audience members throughout its 30 year history. We are currently collecting stories to include in the exhibition.

If you would like to share your SANKOFA story, please use the link below to record a short video using the TheirStory platform. Stories can be as short at 30 seconds, and up to 5 minutes in length.

By recording a story, you hereby authorize the Peale to use your story and add it to its Baltimore Story archive.
